The task

The Police Foundation is the UK’s only independent think tank that researches and works to improve policing. They wanted a brand that emphasised this dedication and a website that showcased their extensive research and thought leadership.

The process

Through a series of workshops, feedback surveys and interviews we identified important brand values that highlighted the Police Foundation’s unique proposition. Using this research we then carried out focus group tests on brand routes and identified key website and digital requirements.

The result

The new brand identity was visually fresh and modern complimenting the forward thinking nature of the organisation whilst retaining the association with it’s core audience. The new website allows for easy categorisation of content as well as an intuitive search functionality. Most importantly the website puts authors and staff members at the fore front emphasising the importance of the research teams and those who support them.
